As daylight faded, I photographed the empty shoreline and a perfect offshore wave. Hours later, beneath complete darkness, I returned to the very same spot to capture the Milky Way rising above the Pacific.

By carefully combining these two moments, the final composition reveals a scene impossible to witness with the human eye in a single instant, yet completely authentic to the place.
